Karin Landry

Managing Partner

Karin has more than 25 years of experience in the insurance, health care, risk financing, retirement and benefits industries and holds eight insurance patents in her name. In the 18 years since she co-founded Spring, she has helped clients of all sizes and across a myriad of industries, assisting them a variety of projects including developing innovative insurance and captive entities; evaluating international benefits design issues, strategies and funding vehicles; creating market entry strategies for financial services firms including banks, insurers, and investment companies in the retirement area; developing life and health insurance products and strategies for major market players; evaluating international health care issues and funding vehicles; and establishing and evaluating integrated delivery systems, HMOs and insurance arrangements related to retiree disability and workers’ compensation.


Karin has held several advisory board positions, including for Fallon Health. Throughout her career, Karin has received numerous awards including but not limited to the Risk & Insurance Power Broker award, Business Insurance’s Women to Watch award, Captive International’s Feasibility Study award, and being named to Captive Review’s Power 50 list for many years running.


Karin holds the following designations: ACI, CEBS, CLTC, GBA, and is a licensed broker in most states. She received a B.S.B.A from Babson College and pursued graduate studies in finance at Northeastern University.
