Spring's CEO Appointed to the Massachusetts Health Connector Board

(Boston, MA - November 2011) Spring Consulting Group, LLC the parent company of Spring Insurance Group, an employee benefits, financial services and risk management consultancy announced today that George Gonser, CEO of Spring Insurance Group, LLC has been appointed to the Board of Directors for the Commonwealth Health Insurance Connector Authority (Health Connector) by Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick. George is a recognized industry expert and leader, he will work with the Connector Board to help Massachusetts insurance professionals, individuals, and businesses navigate health care reform both at the state and national level.

The Commonwealth Health Insurance Connector Authority is a Massachusetts independent governmental agency that facilitates the purchase of affordable, high quality health insurance for individuals and small businesses. In addition the Connector Authority is a Massachusetts independent governmental agency that facilitates the purchase of affordable, high quality health insurance for individuals and small businesses. In addition the Connector Authority also provides policy, regulatory and program administration facilitation functions involving the implementation and execution of the health reform law in Massachusetts.

George brings over 20 years of experience to the Health Connector Authority.
