Spring Consulting Group, LLC is looking for an individual to develop retiree medical reserving and valuation and provide actuarial support and subject matter experience in some or all of our key business areas. The individual will work out of our Boston office.

The ideal candidate will have an FSA designation, 4+ years experience in developing reserves for life, LTD and other group products and meet the AAA qualification standards for signing reserve statements in these areas.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Enhancement of tools and performance of captive feasibility studies with respect to retiree medical, life and other employee benefits
  • Research reserving requirements in various trusts and captive insurance company domiciles
  • Preparation and signing of reserve statements for captives
  • Technical support and subject matter expertise
  • Product development in areas including employee benefits funding, captive insurance and health care design
  • Building financial and analytical models in support of various project initiatives
